Her old-neighborhood friend wants his part of the fortune he thinks she will receive if he takes care of the ex. Maura, doesn't want to go to jail and definitely has no desire to share anything with Ramon.

Her attorney, Sheila, the woman John Weston dumped for Maura, keeps her on the straight and narrow--of course, she also helps set up a heap of evidence against her former lover.

Together the two women take care of both men.
